Question by Gabrielle C: what to add to origami crane centerpieces?
I want to fold 1000 cranes and have them Incorporated into the centerpieces. I need inexpensive ideas. I like non floral centerpieces because im allergic to pollen. Things i’ve thought of are candy and paper lanterns (not together). But im not sure how to create different levels on a tight budget. Any ideas? We are using a rainbow of colors.

One idea we thought about using in our wedding when we were going with an asian theme was using semi clear chinese take out containers with candles in them so the light would flicker through. We also tested out lights and they looked awesome too and made a really neat effect.
